Programme Coordinator at STIAS
Nel-Mari is responsible for planning, coordination and smooth delivery of the fellowship in-residence programmes and activities. She joined STIAS in 2010 on a part-time basis before becoming full-time in 2015.
Her responsibilities include coordinating and managing Fellows’ residency schedules, organising events, and supporting scholarly workshops and seminars. Through careful attention to detail, she works with the Fellows, Visiting Scholars and artist-in-residence to ensure that all programme components are implemented smoothly and reflect the Institute’s commitment to academic excellence.
Before joining STIAS, she gained valuable experience in project management and event coordination, which enhanced her ability to manage diverse tasks and work effectively within multidisciplinary environments.

She holds a BCom degree in Financial Management and a Diploma in Marketing.
